For our upcoming collection ‘Bloomsbury’ we wanted to collaborate with a local designer who could encapsulate the vibrant, dynamic energy of the Bloomsbury group but also resonate with the character of Olivia Annabelle’s designs. We had followed Bloma on instagram for some time and admired all the handmade designs - even purchasing some for myself! Bloma seemed like the obvious choice - their chunky glass beaded jewellery is reminiscent of the 60s with its bold flower power imagery but also reminds us of our ‘90s baby’ childhood playing with chunky costume jewellery from our mums jewellery chests.

We messaged Georgia, the founder of Bloma, with our designs, mood-boards and our colour scheme of apple green, cornflower blue, lilac and burnt orange, and waited eagerly to see what she would come up with (although we knew it would be beautiful!).There’s something inherently playful yet refined about Bloma’s designs, Georgia reinvigorates the class and elegance of ‘your grandma’s pearls’ with the cheerful addition of colour and fun floral shapes. We are so pleased with the pieces from the collaboration - especially as is this is our first ever collaboration. The tangible solidity of the bright green glass flowers contrasts well with the fluidity of the dresses from our new collection - whereas the barrettes faithfully compliment a 30s finger wave do - perfectly epitomising the Bloomsbury era.
