What is your most loved Olivia Annabelle piece?
My favourite OA piece is definitely the Clive Tulip Blouse – I love the statement collar and puffed sleeve detail – it’s so so beautiful!
What is your style aesthetic?
My style is quite minimal. I love neutral pieces, but I love things that have a bit of ‘extra’ to them too. I love smart trousers with wide exaggerated legs, or blouses that have ruching or sleeve details. I like a classic style but with a modern twist.
What trends are you loving right now?
My favourite trend at the moment is definitely statement collars. I love seeing shirts with large pointed collars and blouses with embroidered necklines. I’m also really loving organza-everything too!
What do you think of when putting together an outfit?
When putting together an outfit, I usually just think about what colours I feel like wearing. I’ll have usually seen an outfit that I like in a magazine or on social media that will have inspired my choices. Sometimes I’ll want to keep it simple and other times I like to mix it up a bit!
Who is your style icon?
My style icon is hard thing to choose! I’d probably have to say the classic of Alexa Chung, but I’m also so so influenced by people online. I love people like Lizzy Hadfield, Brittany Bathgate and Lindsey Holland – they all have such minimal, effortless style.
Are you a minimalist or maximalist?
I’m definitely a minimalist!
What is your favourite decade of fashion?
I love the 60s, I’ve always been a lover of mini-skirts and block colours, but I also really adore the 80s and 90s too.
What empowers you as a woman?
I think learning to be myself is what empowers me most. I think growing older and coming into yourself really gives you a sense of empowerment and confidence. I’m still only 21 so I probably have a lot more growing to do haha!
What advice do you have for people who want to become more involved in the industry?
Being true to yourself is probably the most repeated advice ever, but it’s right! Sticking to what you know and love and putting all your personality and love into it is the way to go!
What is a quote you live your life by?
I’m an avid poetry reader and quote lover so this is a difficult question. A favourite of mine is definitely ‘no one is you and that is your power’ , which I guess ties in well with the last question!
What are some current global issues that are important to you?
A movement at the forefront of my mind right now is #BLM. I’ve had my eyes opened so much over the last couple of weeks – educating myself on how I can put the work in to ensure this industry is more inclusive, as well as putting things into action in my own daily life.
