2020 is the ‘Year Of The Nurse’ and also commemorates 200 years since the birth of Florence Nightingale on the 12 of May. The “Lady with the Lamp” became the founder of modern nursing and the first woman to receive the Order of Merit - hence why we have chosen her as our emblem for our charity t-shirts.
